Problem:

releases 6.0.4 and 6.5.2.

Design
SPR# YHAI5UJCUW - Fixed launch issues with the mail database which used to
result in the opening of two windows.
Research indicates that the fault is not within the mail template itself, and
so while this issue typically involves databases based on Notes 6.x mail
templates there is the remote possibility that it could occur with custom
applications as well.
Workaround:
Simply close the gray window tab. To avoid this in the future, close the
Preview pane before exiting the mail database. More >
